This song is one of my favorite! Learning it was such fun, and a joy just as performing it! The song is called "Happy Together"!
This song is an amazing song, although us "Counterpoint" ensemble kids hated this song.. It was very difficult. When you listen to "Blackbird" I hope you understand and see how hard we worked to accomplish in learning this song!
"Quick! We have but a second, fill round the cup while you may!" was part of this song called "Quick! We Have But A Second". This song's fast tempo called for tons of articulation! When I finished singing this song, my lips were full of spit from articulating too much!
